Connecting Care. Empowering patients.
Pymed began as Peth Yoeung, a pioneering healthtech platform developed in Cambodia by First Womentech Asia Co., Ltd. Founded in 2015 by Mrs. Limsan Pong, a seasoned IT professional, and Mr. Socheat Bin, a business strategist. The company was born from a vision to modernize healthcare through digital innovation.
In a country where handwritten records and fragmented systems were still the norm, Peth Yoeung introduced a cloud-based hospital and clinic management system that revolutionized how care was delivered. The platform enabled providers to manage patient records, streamline operations, and improve treatment quality—all while giving patients more control over their health data.
Over the years, Peth Yoeung grew into Cambodia’s leading digital health platform, serving over 3.5 million patients and 30,000+ users across public and private healthcare institutions. It gained recognition from the Ministry of Health and won multiple national and international awards, including honors in the U.S., Japan, Singapore, and Switzerland, for its contributions to gender equity and digital transformation in healthcare.
The company has also collaborated with local and regional partners to expand access to digital health services and promote sustainable, tech-enabled healthcare infrastructure. Its work has been recognized for advancing gender equity and digital transformation in healthcare across Southeast Asia.
Now rebranded as Pymed for its U.S. expansion, the company brings its proven model and fresh perspective to the American healthcare landscape. Drawing from its success in building a connected ecosystem in Cambodia, Pymed is focused on delivering a secure, user-centric EHR platform that empowers providers and patients alike—bridging gaps, reducing inefficiencies, and making care more human.

Generation One: Rooted in Vision
Our journey began in 2015 under the leadership of First Womentech Asia (FWTA), a women-led tech company
committed to solving real-world challenges in healthcare and technology. Our first logo proudly included the FWTA emblem, symbolizing our roots in social impact and gender empowerment. At this stage, our platform—then known as Peth Yoeung—was Cambodia’s first cloud-based hospital management and telemedicine system, designed to improve care delivery for both providers and patients.
Generation Two: Embracing National Identity
From 2018 to 2022, our second logo marked a period of rapid growth and national recognition. As our impact expanded across Cambodia and into international markets, we introduced Khmer script into our branding—a tribute to our Cambodian heritage and the local developers who built the platform. This identity celebrated our role as a homegrown digital health solution making a difference on a global stage.
Generation Three: A Global Vision
Our most recent logo evolution reflects our transition into a global healthtech company. While we remain committed to our original mission—improving healthcare access and quality for all—we’ve refined our visual identity to better represent our long-term vision. The new logo features stylized Khmer characters for “Our Doctor” (ពេទ្យយើង), symbolizing care, connection, and community. The cross represents healthcare, the two dots represent people, and the open circle signifies the world—underscoring our belief that healthcare is a universal right.
This latest evolution also marks our official trademark registration and our emergence as an independent company, distinct from FWTA. As we enter the U.S. market as Pymed, we bring with us a legacy of innovation, resilience, and a deep commitment to improving lives through technology.
